About Coronet Caravans

Ian Farren formed Coronet Caravans in 1959 and lead the Company though the 60's and 70's with annual model changes through these years. Since 1959 the Company had grown from its original factory to its largest premises at Dowling Street Ballarat Victoria. Coronet was at this stage a household name and was one of the largest top 4 manufactures in Australia.

Now under the management of Andrew Phillips the company is still very strong in the industry today. There are still annual model changes and upgrades through each year.

Our latest innovation for 2011 is our new family orientated caravan. Both Ian and Andrew have had fond memories and wonderful adventures in their Coronet caravans with their families, thus the "Farren" was born dedicate to the original founder of Coronet Ian Farren. The Farren is our version of hybrid expanding caravan with many models to choose from.

Coronet still continues to grow each year and have now opened a second manufacturing plant here in Melbourne. This will enable us to have a smoother manufacturing process for each of our individual models.

The Coronet vans offer a rock solid chassis with full Meranti timber framing and craftsman built furniture and trimming finishing off a quality built product that is sure to impress any potential purchaser.

Models in the Coronet Range start at 12 ft and move up to a monster 30 ft tri-axled caravan that offers an enormous degree of space and luxury. The range starts with the entry level Prince models that include pop-tops and full sized vans then moves up to the Carrington range, also with pop-tops and full sized vans with a full ensuite.

Coronet offers a host of standard features across the range plus a raft of options that allow purchasers to create a caravan package to suit their needs and budget. If you can’t work out what van to choose. We are happy to discuss a range of options and are likely to find a solution that will meet your desires and fit your wallet.
